The YouTuber said the Bowser dog was a good dog overall. However, they claim that he and another bull terrier had an altercation, Nikki’s parent dog.
“Bowser was attacked when he was a puppy, and we never really talked about it much, but it was a big turning point in Bowser’s personality,” Nikki Phillippi said. “Before the attack Bowser was able to go to the dog parks, Bowser was just calmer in general, and after the attack it just sparked something in him… Since then things have really changed.”
Bowser has continued to show his aggressive side over the years, including attacking several different dogs, including their little dog Zoe.
They also said it was difficult to go out in public with Bowser, and they kept him indoors or in the backyard. The couple also spoke about how they were preparing to move, and they weren’t sure what to do with him and how he would handle the changes.
As Nikki sat down and spoke to their supporters with her husband Dan Phillippi, she said it was one of the “saddest days of my life”.
Dan called Bowser “an extremely dangerous animal outside the walls of my house.” He also said he was an “outside animal” who was forced to live indoors due to his behavioral issues.
They said it was a decision they had not taken “lightly”. Dan said that “no one was going to be upset like him” since Bowser was his dog more than the family dog.
Dan said he was outraged when the incident happened and he realized that Bowser had injured Logan.
In the video he says he thought about the movie Old town crier and almost wanted to bring the dog back and do it himself, just like the movie.

Exactly. They claimed the dog had bitten their child once, so they had to put him down… Instead of bringing him back, they murdered him. And there is also no evidence that the dog was really aggressive … It makes me sick. https://t.co/j8oSSJyQeQ
