Former Lakers forward reveals upcoming boxing plans and revenge on YouTuber

  • Lamar Odom wants revenge in boxing match against Jake Paul
  • Paul could fight with Odom because of his physical advantage
  • Odom may have to stand in line for Paul

Former Los Angeles Lakers player Lamar Odom looks very serious about his boxing career – but against aspiring boxers in other celebrities.

Most are eager to see how the 6-foot-10 player performs against rapper Aaron Carter, with most tipping him to win.

Odom has some physical advantages over the 33-year-old artist. Yardage of him fighting and knocking out a training partner, Barry Young, has been touring the internet.

But while it can be impressive, he can’t take Carter lightly and look past the American singer.

Therefore, Odom has to make sure he gets a victory over Carter and then worry about what will follow.

But so early on, it looks like the two-time NBA champion is already aiming for another celebrity name in Jake Paul, someone who made headlines recently when he crushed the Floyd Mayweather press conference against Logan Paul.

The highlight of it was stealing the undefeated boxer’s cap which sparked a commotion.

Odom is set to fight Carter on June 12 in Atlantic City with the 41-year-old a favorite.

Assuming the 2011 NBA Sixth Man of the Year award passes, the YouTuber is his next target.

He made it clear in a clip obtained by TMZ and explained that he wanted revenge for what Paul did to another former NBA player – Nate Robinson.

“After Aaron Carter, I would like to fight Jake Paul. For Nate Robinson,” Odom said in the video.

Most will recall that Paul knocked out Robinson in the second round in November.

Most were concerned about this scene although the 36-year-old had shown everyone he was capable of recovering.

Paul continues to receive criticism for challenging people with little to no boxing experience.

But against Odom, assuming that comes to pass, he could fight.

One of them is that he can struggle to get into a knockout, with Odom holding a nine-inch height advantage – not to mention a longer reach.
