Rugged Australian cricketer David Warner has trolled teammate and captain Pat Cummins on social media.

Cummins, 28, was invited by Gillette to literally be the face of a paid promotion running on Instagram.

Also featuring New Zealand actor Julian Dennison, fresh-faced Cummins can be heard launching Gillette’s new ProGlide 5 razor.

Warner saw the irony of the always clean-shaven Cummins being used for a men’s grooming campaign, cheekily asking on Instagram “What do you actually shave?”

Many of Warner’s Instagram followers enjoyed the public jokes, with more than 9,600 likes.

On March 25, Cummins showed his exceptional leadership skills after guiding Australia to a 1-0 series victory in Pakistan.

His brave statement in the second leg of the third and final Test shocked many cricket fans, but it turned out to be a masterstroke.

“It’s a huge satisfaction for me,” Cummins said after Australia’s 115-point triumph in Lahore.

“Everyone is just totally thrilled.

“Winning the Ashes series was huge, but winning overseas doesn’t happen very often.”

Only Richie Benaud in 1959 and Mark Taylor in 1998 had previously overseen series wins in Pakistan for Australia.

Appropriately, Cummins delivered the knockout blow, with his 3-23 including the last wicket winning on day five.

The skipper finished the series with 12 wickets at an average of 22.50.
