Bundaberg Distilling Company and Bundaberg Ginger Beer came to meet the Australian men’s and women’s cricket team.
Iconic Australian brands Bundaberg Distilling Company and Bundaberg Ginger Beer will join Cricket Australia’s official beverage partner lineup of Australian men’s and women’s teams in a multi-year partnership.
This year, Bundaberg Distilling Company will feature its Bundaberg rum brand alongside Bundaberg’s Ginger Beer.
“It seems very fitting that we are announcing this exciting partnership from Queensland, the host of the first Ashes Test of the summer and where these two brands were born and raised,” said Mr Hockley.
“Ginger Beer is a great match for cricket and the Australian sun and we look forward to a successful partnership in the summers to come.”
Diageo’s director of marketing and innovation, Andrew Oughton, said he was excited about the new partnership.
“Bundy is delighted to partner with Cricket Australia to support the men’s and women’s games with our iconic Australian brand,” he said.
“Cricket is a major hotspot for our fans and there is no better game on a hot summer day than the refreshing delicious taste of a Bundy.”
Bundaberg Ginger Beer CEO John McLean said cricket, summer and ginger ale go hand in hand.
“We are committed to iconic Australian moments and know that cricket and our ginger ale are synonymous with summer in Australia,” said John.
“So we are delighted to announce our partnership with Cricket Australia on an Ashes series that we have all been looking forward to.
“We are confident that we will have a lot of points on the board during this partnership and that we will enjoy a few brews along the way. “
