Brian Laundrie: Police fly drone over Carlton reserve as activity ramps up
Brian Laundrie is alive, counsel for his parents’ family has suggested as the search for the 23-year-old continues.
“I believe Brian is still on the reserve,” the attorney told Fox News, referring to the Carlton reserve where the missing man’s parents told investigators he was going on a hike last month.
Gabby Petito’s family have said they hope Laundrie will be found alive during an interview on Dr. Phil McGraw’s show.

Police activity at the Carlton reserve resumed after several days of scant searches. Mr. Laundrie is said to have hiked the reserve on September 13 and has been missing since.

Brian Laundrie visited his parents’ home in Florida on a road trip with Gabby Petito
Brian Laundrie returned home to Florida on his road trip with Gabby Petito on August 17 to shut down a storage unit – and returned to Utah on August 23, attorney Steven Bertolino confirmed.
Mr Bertolino said Mr Laundrie returned to Utah on August 23, just four days before Petito’s last visit.
The lawyer said Petito and Mr Laundrie were planning to extend their road trip so he returned home to refuel and shut down a storage unit to save money.
Mr Laundrie returned home to Florida shortly after the incident in Moab on August 12, in which Gabby Petito told the officer that her boyfriend had hit her.
Petito was last seen on August 27. His body was later found in Wyoming. The FBI called her a homicide victim but did not disclose the actual cause of death.
